disclosures
I strongly believe in clear disclosures of conflicts of interest. I don't post sponsored content on my website, on my personal Twitter account, or anywhere else, so please don't ask. Everything here is me and my opinion. Do not quote me as “$company person Geoffrey Huntley said”— I publish on their channels if I speak for a company.
ai
I do not work at a developer tooling company, for a foundational LLM model company, or any AI company in the software engineering sector. I have zero financial interest in seeing developers consume more LLM tokens and/or switch to different tools. I write about AI for myself (so I don't have to repeat myself) and for other clued-in software engineers.

cryptocurrencies
My professional work has nothing to do with cryptocurrencies, blockchains, or finance. I am not paid to write about cryptocurrencies or related topics. A few generous people have contributed to my wallet at ghuntley.eth
which is available for inspection:

NFTs
My wallet does contain an RR/BAYC NFT, which Ryder Ripps copyrighted as conceptual art and sent to my wallet to troll me in response to TheNFTBay.org. I think NFTs are dumb, and you should not buy or "invest" in them. If someone were dumb enough to submit an offer for a duplicate pointer on the blockchain linking to an image, I would likely accept the offer as it would create an excellent talking point to demonstrate the absurdity of this ecosystem.
